A healthy spiritual life involves becoming an active part in co-creating wholeness with the Divine. Out of gratitude for the many gifts and graces we receive each day we serve others. In the compassion given and the advocacy offered, we experience the miraculous healing of our own souls and the restoration of wholeness in our community.
Check back often to find information about the ways in which you might join us at the Table to raise a voice of advocacy for another, give a bit of kindness to someone in despair, and make a positive impact on our community.
What can I do today?
The StitchedTogether group is a group of people who knit and crochet 14 inch squares which will be made into blankets for Shelter Animals and security blankets for children traumatized by homelessness, domestic violence or displacement from their families.
If you knit, crochet or would like to learn join us! Meet new people, knit or crochet and help others, while chatting over coffee or a bite to eat. We have patterns, yarn and ideas to share! This group meets every Tuesday evening at 7pm. Join us! Questions?
This spring the Table will be hosting a teach-in to help the mainstream population understand the needs and challenges of undocumented workers. We will work closely with area nonprofit groups working to advocate and serve our neighbors who are undocumented workers. Volunteer to help us plan and host this event.
